Creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, created a superhero comic book called Invincible. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are interested in adapting the book into a movie. They saw the potential Kirkman has with the book, and they are fully aware that superhero films are almost always a hit. Rogen and Goldberg want to write and direct the movie.
The storyline is also fantastic. It follows like life of a boy named Mark Grayson who is the son of superhero, Omni-Man. His father left the superhero lifestyle in order to become a novelist and live in the suburbs. Once Mark was of age and got his own superpowers, he got involved with the dangerous world of aliens, betrayal, and more.
Despite the fact that Seth Rogen is most notably recognized as a comedian and creator of hilarious films, Rogen and Goldberg are known for being a part of films that are pressed on character development and movies with great storylines. They both are also no stranger to weird and gross humor, which can definitely be incorporated in Invincible.
