It seems as if The Walking Dead actor, Daniel Newman might’ve spilled some major spoilers about season 8. A since deleted Instagram post, shows him with Rick and Jeremy Palko hanging out in Negan Country.
TV Guide explains that Rick Grimes has not yet been to the Sanctuary on The Walking Dead and season 8 has just begun filming last week. The photo might be demonstrating that Grimes will end up in the Sanctuary sooner than expected. Robert Kirkman’s comic books have major battles that will also have potential in being a part of season 8 with Grimes’ army bringing a fight to Negan’s front yard. Meaning this premiere is going to be a premiere worth mentioning.
Rick visiting the sanctuary might not be as much of a spoiler to some because well, it was bound to happen. But the post Newman publicly shared gives us a timeframe of when this event will be happening in the season. Showrunner, Scott M. Gimple described the next season to be “a bit more kinetic, a bit more breakneck.” On top of that, Dalton Ross, producer of The Walking Dead live tweeted on set promising that his fans will be VERY happy. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for this upcoming season.
