While White struggled mightily with typecasting once ‘Family Matters’ ended, 2011 marked a successful year for the 40-plus-year-old. He appeared on the TV series ‘House MD’ and ‘Are We There Yet,’ and in the movie ‘Judy Moody and The Not Bummer Summer.’

However, his most recent claim to fame is being cast as a competitor on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ he was partnered with 2-time dance champion Kym Johnson. In the opening night’s performance, White and Johnson danced the Foxtrot to “The Way You Look Tonight.”
