The social network team in charge of the Wendy’s Twitter account came out with an amazing idea. They started making incredible promises to people who are able to get a certain amount of retweets. The thing is they never expected anyone to get THAT MANY retweets as this guy, who might actually end up getting free chicken nuggets for 365 days.
This Twitter genius is Carter Wilkerson. He was interested to see how many retweets it would take for a year of free chicken nuggets. Wendy’s team replied with the goal of 18 million tweets. (Just so you know, the most retweeted tweet in history was Ellen DeGeneres’ Oscar selfie with 3.2 million retweets). So far, Wilkerson has acquired 950,000 retweets in just 24 hours. Maybe he will actually make it?
