After 108 years of defeat, Javier Baez and his Cubs finally broke the infamous curse of the Billy Goat last year. A World Series victory, NLCS MVP award and World Baseball Classic silver medal, 2016 has treated Javier Baez extremely well.
Now, the Cubs second baseman is expected to be shown naked on the cover of the 9th annual ESPN The Magazine ‘Body’ Issue. The issue will be released starting July 8th.
This shoot stands out from most other big production photo shoots due to it’s choice of camera. Photographer Dylan Coulter shot the cover photo of the upcoming issue using only an iPhone 7 plus.
Baez posted the picture on his Instagram with the caption “Every body has a story.”
