Hollywood star Bradley Cooper surprised fans by joining Pearl Jam on stage at Napa Valley’s BottleRock festival on May 25. During Pearl Jam’s headlining set, frontman Eddie Vedder introduced Cooper as “my great, great pal Bradley Cooper.” The two then performed an acoustic rendition of “Maybe It’s Time” from A Star Is Born. Cooper and Vedder traded verses and harmonized beautifully on the chorus, with Vedder also accompanying on guitar. The crowd was treated to a rare and intimate musical moment that blended Cooper’s acting chops with his musical talent.
Cooper’s appearance didn’t end with the duet. Towards the end of the set, he returned to join the band for a raucous cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In the Free World.”
