Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms Terminator and Twins Sequel

After a chat with Screen Daily, Arnold Schwarzenegger confirms that the a Terminator sequel is on the way and he officially states, “I will be in the movie.” The former California governor has been working with the Terminator and Terminator 2 writer-director James Cameron, who is even going ahead with a sixth motion picture for the franchise. “It is moving forward. He [Cameron] has some good ideas of how to continue with the franchise,” Arnold describes Cameron and the film. 

In 2015, the Terminator Genisys earned a significant $440 million throughout the entire world and only $90 million came from the North American audience. Now it’s a no brainer we are excited for a new Terminator movie to be released but the climate has changed for the franchise in the 2010s. 

In addition to the new apocalypse fighting film, Arnold reveals and update on a sequel to his 1988 comedy, Twins. Joining Arnold in the new motion picture will be Eddie Murphy and Danny DeVito with Ivan Reitman returning as well. According to Arnold, the comedy is “just around the corner” with the script being finished in just a month. Looks like Arnold has a lot headed his way.
