Amazon Banning Shoppers Who Return Items Too Often

One of the advantages of Amazon is its light return policy. But you have to be careful with it.

According to The Wall Street Journal, they have banned buyers for several violations, including returning too many articles.

Generally, Amazon supports cost-free returns in an easy way for much of the items they sell, but, as usual, you should read the small letter.

Many people have expressed their concerns and annoyance on Amazon closing their accounts without further notice or warning.

For example, one person told The Guardian that his account was suspended after he returned 37 of 343 bought articles.

They have complained because the return policy doesn’t say that sending back too many articles may result in account termination, but the conditions of use state that the company may close accounts at its will.

And what does Amazon says about this entire problem? According to an Amazon representative “We want everyone to be able to use Amazon, but there are rare occasions where someone abuses our service over an extended period of time,” (…) We never take these decisions lightly, but with over 300 million customers around the world, we take action when appropriate to protect the experience for all our customers. If a customer believes we’ve made an error, we encourage them to contact us directly so we can review their account and take appropriate action.”
