3 Trends From the Emmy Awards Red Carpet That We’ll Be Seeing Everywhere This Fall

The Primetime Emmy Awards often set a fashion precedent for months to come, and they did it once again this year. This awards ceremony introduced us to many amazing fashion trends that we’re expecting to see everywhere this fall—starting with these three.

White Menswear

If we had to pick a single color ruling the red carpet at the Emmy Awards this year, white would definitely take the cake. Many ladies looked positively bridal wearing this color, but it was also a pleasant surprise to see many gentlemen rocking white suits, including Andrew Garfield, Seth Rogen, Toheeb Jimoh, Nicholas Braun, and Jong Legend.

Black With a Twist

Classy black gowns are never going out of style, and we saw several stars wearing them at the Emmys, including Zendaya and Elle Fanning. Some of the black outfits that we spotted on the red carpet came with interesting details, including Nicholas Hoult’s flare trousers and Julia Garner’s floral cutout gown.

Sequins and Rhinestones

Stars at the Emmys were shining brighter than ever—mostly because many of them hit the red carpet in sequined or rhinestone-embellished dresses. Amanda Seyfried, Sandra Oh, and Reese Witherspoon embraced this trend, while Christina Ricci and Lily James wore dazzling dresses in trendy brown shades.
