Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book of the same name, Daisy Jones & The Six chronicles the rise and fall of a fictional rock band during the 70s. It stars Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, and it’s inspired by Reid’s love for Fleetwood Mac.
Donald Glover’s new series explores the dark side of pop music fandoms, drawing inspiration from Beyoncé’s “Bey Hive”. It follows a young woman Dre, whose obsession with her favorite pop superstar takes her to dark and unexpected places.
Poker Face: Rest in Metal
Poker Face saw its heroine solve crimes all around America, and one of them involved a washed-up metal band Doxxxology. The episode Rest in Metal shows members of Doxxxology going the extra mile to claim the credit for a song that isn’t theirs.
