This Tracksuit Is A Must Have For Every Fashion Minded Guy In 2019

If you grew up in the late ‘80s, the Adidas track suits were probably high on your Christmas wish list. The tracksuit with the famous Three Stripes became hugely popular because influential celebrities started wearing them as streetwear.

In 1988,  Joseph Simmons, Darryl McDaniels, and Jason Mizell (a.k.a. Run DMC) made Adidas popular amongst hip hop lovers.  The majority of the time the trio could be spotted in Adidas wear, and the tracksuit in particular. Over the years, matching tracksuits kind of disappeared from the face of the earth. You could still spot people in only the hoodies or just the track pants. But a complete matching outfit hasn’t been in style for a while.

Until now, because 2018 will bring back the matching tracksuit in menswear. The old school Adidas tracksuit is back and better than ever. It’s been updated and made to perfection.  The so-called Superstar tracksuit, or SST tracksuit for short, was inspired by the original Three Stripes suit but has gotten a bit of an update.

Even though it might take a little courage for some men to start wearing a full-on matching tracksuit, now’s the time to do it. You can even finish off the look with a nice pair of original Adidas sneakers. But even if you are not so fashion-forward and don’t want to walk around in a full-on tracksuit, it won’t hurt you to have one of these classics in your wardrobe.

This new take on the classic Adidas could perfectly be worn separately. The track jacket can be worn with a basic t-shirt, jeans, and finish off the look with a good pair of sneakers (preferably Adidas sneakers of course).  The track pants can also be the statement piece of your look if you wear them with a basic white t-shirt, denim jacket, and white sneakers.

Both the track jacket and track pants are sold separately at Adidas.com and retail for respectively $78 and $65.
