The New Orleans Pelicans have been attempting to add more members to its team, apparently targeting Jahlil Okafor or Brook Lopez to play on the same side as their star player, Anthony Davis. Last Sunday, however, word spread out that the Pelicans might also be looking into DeMarcus Cousins. Conversation spurred between the Pelicans and Cousin, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical. The idea of Davis and Cousins working together has sparked intrigue in many fans. It seems like the Pelicans are also interested in adding Paul George to their team prior to the teammate deadline coming up shortly, according to Justin Verrier on Twitter.
There is no official information regarding this manner, especially with regard to Indiana being willing to let go of their star player, Paul George. Despite the fact that the Pelicans are looking to add more members to its team, there is no denying that the members already on it are something to talk about. The team has several high paid players, including Jrue Holiday, Solomon Hill, and Tyreke Evans. However, the Pelicans certainly seem to believe that Davis could use some help on the team.
