Patty Jenkins, the director of the new Wonder Woman film, has spoken out about the film. Not only did Jenkins mention her thoughts about the film, but she also let the world know that the original theme song from Wonder Woman in the TV show from the 70’s will be heard in the new movie.
She did state how challenging it was to incorporate the theme song as it certainly is very specific. In her own words, “…it’s not the kind of thing you can just ladle all over a little girl, or a naïve person, so it has its own journey”.
She continued by informing us that she believes the film is a classic and is on the same level as movies such as Casablanca and Indiana Jones. Her objective for the movie was to direct it to be a film of humor, honor, and heroism. All these characteristics are apparent in war hero films.
Wonder Woman, or Diana Prince, will be played by the famous and beautiful Israeli actress, Gal Gadot. Actors Chris Pine and Robin Wright will also start in the new film.
