Sarah Paulson doesn’t care a bit what people think of her 32-year age gap with Holland Taylor. She is 43 and Holland Taylor is 75, and she said to Modern Luxury that “If someone wants to spend any time thinking I’m strange for loving the most spectacular person on the planet, then that’s their problem”.
She believes age is only a number. The rumors of their relationship started at the end of 2015 when in an interview with WNYC podcast Death, Sex & Money, she said she was in a relationship. “It’s the most wonderful extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life,” she said there.
4 months later, in March of the following year, she confirmed her relationship with Taylor. They met around 10 years ago at a dinner party. At that time she was dating Cherry Jones, 18 years older than her.
But they got in touch again some years later while doing charity work, and went on a dinner date and immediately fell connected.
Ryan Murphy’s muse was told the situation was going to affect her career. He cared so little about it she yelled a big “I love you” to Taylor at the 2016 Emmys.
She does not feel like she should be defined by her relationship or her personal life. “My choices in life have been unconventional, and that’s my business.”
