Michael Bennett Donating 2017 Endorsement Money to Charity

Michael Bennett is a football player for the Seattle Seahawks. He has been inspired by Chance the Rapper to donate all of his endorsement money of 2017 to various charities that help rebuild minority communities and empower woman of color. Chance the Rapper donated $1 million to public schools within Chicago. He has a wide history of being a philanthropist.

It doesn’t stop there, though. He also plans to donate at least 50 percent of his revenue from his jersey sales in 2017 to aid promote inner-city garden projects, healthy eating, and healthy living.

He started the promotion when he posted a picture on Instagram of his three daughters and stated that “any company that decided to invest in me, just know that you’ll be investing in opportunities and providing inspiration for these families…”

Bennett has been involved with many social factors, such as the Black Lives Matter movement. He also was seen at the women’s strike on International Women’s Day. He has spoken out to several of his peers, asking them to join him in his quest to make the world a better place one step at a time.
