Man Skydives From 25,000 Feet With No Parachute

Most people are too scared too even think about skydiving with the proper equipment, but without it, the notion becomes unthinkable. Unless, that is, you are daredevil skydiver Luke Aikins.

Aikins, a seasoned stuntman who did some of the stunts for “Ironman 3,” set a world record by skydiving from a plane 25,000 feet in the air and making the landing into the of a 100ft by 100ft net.

He has completed 18,000 jumps in his lifetime, but this is the first time he or anyone has done so without a parachute or wingsuit.

Taking only a few moments to regain his composure, Aikins dusted himself off, clambered out of the net, high fived the medic who made sure he’s ok and jumped into the arms of his very relieved wife, Monica.

“I am almost levitating. It is incredible what has happened,” Aikins said afterwards. “It is awesome.”
