Knives Out franchise is a gift that keeps on giving, and Rian Johnson is getting ready to deliver another epic murder mystery. Netflix officially announced the third installment, titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, and here’s everything we know about it right now.
Plot Details
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Knives Out films usually follow a similar formula. Daniel Craig will be back as the world-famous detective Benoit Blanc, and we’ll probably watch him solve another murder mystery involving a group of quirky characters.
Ensemble Cast
Another thing that all Knives Out films have in common is their star-studded cast. Daniel Craig will once again lead the ensemble, and he’ll be joined by Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), Josh O’Connor (Challengers), Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Mila Kunis (Bad Moms), Jeremy Renner (Avengers franchise), Daryl McCormack (Good Luck to You, Leo Grande), and Glenn Close (Dangerous Liaisons).
Release Date
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery still doesn’t have an official release date, but we know it’s coming to Netflix in 2025. It will most likely be given a short theatrical release window before streaming online, just like its predecessor Glass Onion. Production will kick off later this month in London.
