Everson Royce Bar – Los Angeles
Whether you are looking for a bar or a spot to eat, at Everson Royce Bar you’re at the right spot to enjoy both. Take a seat, get yourself a nice cocktail and order a nice plate of food from the amazing menu (that is if you can even make a choice between a good old juicy burger and a delicious bao bun). Located on 1936 East Seventh Street in Los Angeles, this place needs to be on your bucketlist of bars to go to. And while you’re in the area, go and pay a visit to the Museum of Ice Cream, which is right around the corner.
Barnacle Bar – Seattle
When in Seattle it would be a crime not to visit Barnacle Bar, located at 4743 Ballard Avenue Northwest. With it stylish Moroccan tiles and white-washed interior it has a very light and airy Mediterranean vibe to it (even without windows to light up the space). Everything is the way it’s supposed to be and even the menu is well thought-out. If you like sardines, you’re in for a treat because they are served right out of the tin. The drinks side of the menu is heaven on earth for wine lovers, with a great selection of Italian wines to choose from.
Milk Room – Chicago
One of Chicago’s bar gems can be found in the Chicago Athletic Association hotel. Milk Room has a hidden micro bar with eight seats and according to the hotel’s website it has a spirit-forward cocktail menu crafted from only the rarest vintage spirits and elixirs. But if you are more into the stronger stuff you are at the right place as well. The bartender can serve you a nice glass of well-curated whisky as well. Milk Room is located on 12 South Michigan Avenue on the second floor of the Chicago Athletic Association.
